Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at TalTech’s U03 building is getting a fresh new look. The project was born from a competition win, and now the main project phase has been completed.

 

We were inspired by:

- 1960s modernism – a simple and honest aesthetic that ties the building to its historical architecture.

- High-tech architecture – exposing systems and structures, turning the building into a living lab.

 

More daylight, glass, and openness. Just like in the 1960s, light flows through the building and creates visual connections. The choice of materials reflects the theme of construction – wood, metal, concrete, glass, and perforated metal.
